Es sorprenderte el darnos cuenta como la tecnología es parte fundamental de la vida diaria de todos nosotros; cuántas veces se te ha olvidado el celular en casa y esto hace que vuelvas por el, la facilidad que existe de acudir a un cyber café y usar el Internet para poder comunicarte con otra persona que se encuentra al otro lado del mundo.
Si hacemos un recuento de cómo la tecnología ha cambiado constantemente nos sorprenderiamos, por ejemplo los equipos de computo y de audio.
Existe una gran diversidad de tecnologia en el mercado, siempre habra algo que se ajuste a tus necesidades; sin embargo toda la tecnología que nos rodea no solo sirve para comunicarnos, divertirnos o para hacer negocio, también tiene fines mas importantes como educar.
También es cierto que el uso de la tecnología en las empresas, ha sustituido parte del personal, puesto que esta ha reemplazado la mano de obra, para que la producción sea más rápida y mas barata, pero también ha permitido que las pequeñas empresas crezcan y puedan brindar mayores fuentes de trabajo.
En México, desde los años 80’s se ha fomentado el uso de la computación para incrementar los niveles educativos en el país, siendo pioneros de la educación a distancia, un gran ejemplo es el ITESM.
